Went to 555 Supermarket and stocked up on some fresh squid. I have to say that cleaning it was a pretty big pain in the butt, but I probably should have let it thaw more because it was still kinda frozen. It had been awhile since I cooked fresh squid, but decided to do it Filipino style a.k.a. adobo style. I added fresh jasmine rice and garlic broccoli and overall it was a very tasty, pretty healthy meal. The onions and garlic got a little over-saturated with the adobo mixture but made the onions much more palatable to me. I still need to get better at this though. Will have to practice the dish more with my mother.
