We met up with Scott, Caitlin, and Julia for dinner and a live blues show. Unfortunately it was a little louder than any of us expected, but the food was pretty delicious and the show entertaining (though a little inappropriate at times, no?) Some delicious Southern-style cooking. Hearty portions and not too expensive. A nice find for Northern California.

Buffalo wings - nicely fried and not too saucy. Doused in Frank's Red Hot |

Calamari - hard to mess up. Tasty |

Fried chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and cole slaw. Some of the best non-fast-food fried chicken I've had. The mashed potatoes were pretty awesome too. Nice and creamy and garlic-y. I didn't try the cole slaw though b/c it looked too mayo-y |
