Claire and I went to Emmett's in the East Village for a Chicago-inspired dinner. Basically an entire dinner of cheese. The place is super small, and we didn't have a reservation so sat at the bar. The food came out pretty quickly and was awesome. Definitely reminded me that Chicago pizza is a different beast altogether than NY style. Nice every once in a while but there's a reason that NY pizza is the go-to slice.
