Home-made turnip patties w/sausage and peppers

We got a bunch of turnips in a friend's CSA box, so I found a receipt for mashed potato and turnip cakes, and used that as my inspiration for the meal.  The cakes/patties were almost latke-esque, and tasted great with the trader joe's chicken apple sausage and green peppers.  A surprisingly great meal.
