The next morning we had a delightful and cheap breakfast at an old school diner where we sat at the counter because table service was crowded and taking awhile. We got a delicious Puerto Rican pastry called a mallorca - essentially a brioche/pancake mixed covered in confectioner's sugar and stuffed with whatever - in our case, savory breakfast foods. I think Dan got ham and cheese and I got bacon and cheese. The saltiness from the meat/cheese with the sweetness of the dough and sugar was a perfect mix. Plus some Puerto Rican coffee, and we had the best breakfast. Total was like $12 which was awesome as well.
