Went to a nice group dinner for my birthday at Mancora in the East Village. The food was good but service was slow and it took a long time to get drinks. Not the best Peruvian food I've had but solid. Maybe going at a less crowded time like lunch would be better. I only took shots of my and Dan's food because it took so long for the food to come out that everyone just wanted to eat.

Tasty watermelon margarita |

Arroz con Pato - sauteed duck with rice, cilantro sauce mixed greens and salsa criolla. Delish and I was surprised by how crispy the duck was |

Dan got baked filet of tilapia topped with seafood sauteed with creamy sauce, and served with rice. Way to be healthy |
