A trip to the office is a rarity nowadays, so I had to order lunch as a treat for making it in. Got something healthy but sooo filling. I was very pleased by my plant-based "chicken." This brand is Daring Chicken. I haven't seen it in stores but honestly tasted the same as breaded chicken so I was thrilled!

Lunch from Just Salad in NYC
Dinner from Taqueria Los Gueros in Passaic, NJ
Taco craving means - Los Gueros. There are many Taquerias but the Passaic one seems way better than the closer one in Rutherford. Always delicious tacos plus they have churros! Combining two dinners in one post:
Dinner #1
Dinner from Osaka Sushi in Lyndhurst, NJ
To bounce back from our prior negative sushi experience, we ordered from Osaka, which has been consistently delicious, bone-free, fast, and decently priced. We ordered pick-up to avoid the fees and were very happy, especially compared to our last sushi dinner.
Dinner from Sea Shai Korean BBQ & Japanese Sushi in Nutley, NJ
We were craving sushi and tried to order from some place in town, but they cancelled our order because it was too close to closing. So instead we ordered from Sea Shai, which this time was a bit of a let down. Dan found bones in his sushi so ended up stopping eating early. Sad because the first time was pretty good, but don't think we'll be eating there again.
Dinner from Steve's Burger in Garfield, NJ
Dan was craving burgers so we ordered from a new (for us) place on Uber Eats - Steve's Burger. We were pleasantly surprised. The burgers were pretty cheap, and everything was good quality and hit the spot. There's just sooo many extra fees to order online but it was worth it in this case.
Home-made fish with veggies
We had some cajun seasoning so I pan fried tilapia, and made it with cous cous, peas, and cherry tomatoes. Despite frying, overall it was a healthy, quick and easy meal.
Home-made pork tenderloin and latkes
We got some pork tenderloin, so decided to do an homage to the in-laws and do a balsamic roasted pork tenderloin. Also of course accompanied by latkes and apple sauce. Made the meal twice - once with frozen latkes (thanks TJs) and the second time, home-made. I think the TJs ones were better honestly LOL and the home-made took sooo much effort. I'm glad I tried though so I can appreciate how much work goes into it.
