Lunch from Wisefish Poke in NYC

I tried another poke joint in Chelsea - Wisefish Poke.  Got a little attitude from the checkout girl and the people were less friendly than other places, but solid bowl.  Nothing about this place though would make me go there on my own unless I were in the area.  Definitely still think Pokeworks is the best in the city.

Lunch from Wasabi Sushi & Bento in NYC

I went to Wasabi Sushi & Bento for lunch and picked up a delicious bowl of salmon teriyaki.  The portion actually was really large, so large that I was able to eat it over two lunches.  The sauce was a bit thick but not bad considering this is a fast casual joint.  Salmon seemed of good quality and it was nice and warm when I picked it up.  Only downside is that it is a little pricey if you eat it in one meal, but over two is about $5-6 which isn't bad, especially for Manhattan.

Dinner at Speedy Romeo in NYC

Went on a double date to Speedy Romeo on the LES because we had heard about a delicious pizza using Katz's Deli pastrami.  Unfortunately despite having a reservation, we had to wait quite a bit.  But to make up for it, they gave us a free pizza!  So it was worth it because the food was delicious and service, once seated, high quality as well.  Pizza was delish and glad to have gotten a chance to try so many different dishes.
Stuffed Peppers - Hot And Sweet Soppressata, Ricotta, Pecorino

The White Album - Roasted Garlic, Ricotta, Provel, Pecorino, Béchamel.  Top notch white pizza

Paul's Boutique - Katz’s Pastrami, Dijon Béchamel, Smoked Red Kraut, Fontina, 1000 Island Dressing, Everything Bagel Crust.  Def one of my top two

The Kind Brother - Wild Mushroom, Smoked Mozzarella, Farm Egg, Sage

The Dangerfield - Pork-Veal Meatballs, Ricotta, Béchamel, Garlic Chips.  I think this was my fav but honestly hard to say because all were delish

For the holidays I made some awesome batches of cookies - lemon sugar tea cookies and oatmeal walnut chocolate chip cookies.  Delicious and beautiful!  My own little cookie factory

Dinner from Tidal Poke in Jersey City, NJ

No joke when I say we order from Tidal Poke at least once a week.  This time tried something different with the shrimp scampi.  It was tasty but took a lot of work to peel and because it was delivery it wasn't piping hot like the food trucks.  I think had they been peeled we would've loved it more, but the effort to pay-off wasn't worth it for us, and I doubt we'd order it again unless maybe at the store itself.  Poke itself was awesome as per usual.

my mom got the Veggie Burger with chipotle mayo, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion and fries

Chopped Cobb Salad - Grilled Chicken, Crumbled Blue Cheese,Sweet Corn, Egg, Avocado, Crispy Bacon,Tomato, Buttermilk Ranch. Looked delicious and filling

Lunch at Mighty Quinns' in Clifton, NJ

Dan and I went to Mighty Quinn's for a quick lunch.  They now have combo meals so we got sooo food for so cheap.  We were both pretty stuffed and had leftovers.  Always a good meal.
Fries, bread pudding, super cheesy mac and cheese, and 3 meats (brisket, pulled pork, and pork ribs) with all the free veggies
