Before coming to Hawaii, we looked up where to get authentic Hawaiian food since there are so many touristy spots or just other kinds of Asian food, but not specifically Hawaiian. Ono Hawaiian Foods consistently came up in guide books and in travel reviews. It was about 1.5 miles from the hotel so we decided to take a nice evening stroll. Unfortunately since it was a holiday, they had run out of lau lau. But we still had a nice meal of some very different foods.
