The main theme of our eating in Hawaii is giant portions, unhealthy and likely fried, and ensuing food coma. We finally made it to Da Kitchen, which was on our list to go to last time but we ran out of time. Fortunately we went on the later side so didn't have to wait. I cannot even describe the pain from fullness that we felt, which began from the very beginning with the fried spam musubi. In theory, sounded like a great idea, but was so filling and intense that it was hard to eat much of our entrees. The portion also were crazy huge. My leftover noodles were great post-wedding though.

So you can see in proportion to a human being, my husband, how large it was. It was GIANT. Easily could've fed at least 3 hungry people. That fried monstrosity after the fried musubi did Dan in |

I got the kalbi noodles which were delicious though tiny bit greasy. There was so much kalbi in it though . So completely worth it |

I got macadamia coconut pie for later. The next day I ate it and it was good but nothing super memorable |
