Nicole and I went to Fuku on Wall Street for their chimek meal, which consists of a whole fried chicken - 1/2 habanero, 1/2 sweet and spicy. Plus m'smen (bread), fries, pickled diakon, pickle chips, kimchi and a bunch of sauces. We decided to splurge and get the 6 pack high life ponies since the whole point of the meal was to have korean fried chicken with beer. We apparently got the last chimek, but we came shortly after 5:30 and they only serve this meal at dinner. SMH. We were confused by some of the piece of the chicken we got. We couldn't necessarily identify them. Overall, it was a fun meal to try, but some of the chicken felt overcooked. The habanero was too hot for me to enjoy, and so mostly stuck to the sweet and spicy, but I prefer the bon chon-y sauce for my kfc.
