Dinner at Loring Place in NYC

Dan and I met up with Risheen and Tyler for dinner a cute Italian spot, Loring Place.  Food was good though for italian, not necessarily the most memorable.  Mostly the dinner was great for the company.
Baked Ricotta - kabocha squash, chilies and grilled sourdough

Ricotta Cavatelli - duck, sweet and sour tomato sauce, and charred cabbage.  The cavatelli itself had a nice texture, and the sauce and cabbage made it taste very unique

Grandma style pan pizza with tomatoes, mozzarella and basil.  Good but have had better in NYC especially with all the detroit style pizza places

Risheen and Tyler got the Whole Wheat Spaghetti - spinach, parmesan, basil and crushed chilies
