Lunch at Anchor Bar in NYC

Dan and I went to Anchor Bar after a trip to a museum.  Anchor Bar is the actual originator of Buffalo Wings, and they finally opened up an outpost in NYC.  The wings themselves were good.  Not the best of my life but I can't knock a place that invented the buffalo wing.  The other bar food was fine, and they have a great happy hour deal even on Saturdays, including on the wings, so definitely a nice place to hit up if you're around the area (which I'm not normally but if you were...around Columbus Circle).
Happy Hour menu

Sampler Platter with mozzarella stix, pizza logs, and mac & cheese bites

Inside of the pizza log.  Pretty solid

Inside of the mac and cheese bite

Dan got the Roast Beef on Weck - slow roasted roast beef piled high and served on freshly baked kimmelweck roll, with fries

Single (10 piece) of medium wings

All the food.  So much bar food goodness
