Lunch at Marisqueria del Port in Barcelona, Spain

For lunch we walked around Playa de Barceloneta and picked a nearby restaurant that was advertising a menu del dia (meal of the day) outside for less than 15 euros.  Everything was tasty though not remarkable.  Still, they had some solid 3-course Spanish dishes + a glass of tinto de verano all for 15 euros, which included tax!
Giant calamares appetizer

Two glasses of tinto de verano, calamares, and croquetas

My paella valenciana entree. Pretty large and tasty.  Some nice pieces of soccarrat

Dan's bistec and fries.  Medium well and not too heavy.  Fries were crisp

Dos cremas catalanas.  Spanish creme brulee
