Brunch at Sam A.M. in Jersey City, NJ

Dan and I had brunch at Sam A.M. in JC, which is a short walk from our future apartment.  There was a little bit of a wait as the place is small but we had a delicious, hearty meal.  Unfortunately the place is a bit hipster-y but the food is good enough that I will try and ignore that ha.  The menu is limited but seems like it changes seasonally.  I just hope that they have donuts in the future like I've seen in prior instagram posts.

Biscuit and Sausage Gravy with egg

Vanilla Challah French Toast with berry compote and maple syrup.  Delicious esp with the side of bacon to balance the sweetness of this dish

afterwards Dan got a cinnamon roll.  Necessary?  Maybe not.  But very tasty
