Dinner at Porta Pizza in Jersey City, NJ

Dan and I went to Porta as I was craving some pizza.  We tried some new things and as usual, were not disappointed.  Their non-pizza dishes are delicious, the right size, and inexpensive.  Service is also generally pretty fast which is great because we were in a rush.
Porta Porta calzone - spinach, garlic, house-made ricotta, basil, house-made mozz and evoo.  Great combo but not mixed super well so everything was in sections.

Single serving pappardelle with wild boar ragu.  Delicious

Pan-roasted octopus with fingerling potatoes, capers, garlic, fennel, chervil, lemon and EVOO.  Great combo of ingredients and octopus well cooked
