Dinner at Tokyo Hibachi Asian Cuisine & Buffet in Secaucus, NJ

SO MUCH FOOD!  Sushi, dim sum, soup, salads, and dozens of other "asian" dishes.  Honestly the best Asian buffet I have probably been to.  There was a vast array of sushi, including sashimi.  Several bamboo containers of dim sum, and like a dozen giant tubs of ice cream - including the best combo ever - pistachio and ube ice cream.  For those not aware, ube is a filipino root crop, basically a purple yam.  The whole thing was pretty cheap too considering how much we ate - $22.99 a person on a weekend night.  I am probably not going to remember all the things on these plates, but I'll do my best.
Plate #1: King crab leg, green beans, bok choy with roasted garlic, teriyaki  chicken, teriyaki flounder, lots of different sushi, teriyaki squid, stuffed scallop, shu mai, zucchini tempura, and veggie fried rice in the middle

Plate #2: more bok choy and roasted garlic, mozzarella and cherry tomato, more shu mai and sushi, fried fish, fried rice, some lobster thing, and two kinds of steak

Ube and pistachio ice cream, pineapple slices, and some spongy or possibly cheesecake  cake

  1. Pistachio and ube. Seriously best combo ever. The flavor combinations just compliment each other perfectly. Brilliant combo! Did I mention the pairing is perfect?
