Dinner at Bell and Gray in Jersey City, NJ

Dan and I tried Bell and Gray after our whoknowshowmany attempts at eating at South House.  They said the line at SH was 45 minutes and we were too hungry to wait.  All the food at Bell and Gray was actually delicious, though as other Yelp reviews indicated, the menu was pretty varied, so I don't know that any of our dishes really went together.  Still, overall a tasty meal.
Freebird Fried Chicken with yukon gold mashed potatoes and honey - Chicken was well fried and had good flavor.  Nice to have the hot honey.  Mashed potatoes had zero seasoning though.  Next day when we had leftovers I added black pepper and tons of garlic salt and that did the trick

Black Zuchette with blue crab, garlic fondoutta and jalapeno. Delicious though very rich

Spare Ribs - Dr. Pepper, black pepper, and smoked paprika almonds.  Tasty but a little too sweet for Dan.  Meat fell off the bone though which was nice.  As you can see, none of these dishes truly complimented any of the others but I would say still worth a (second) trip.
