Lunch at Clyde Cooper's Barbecue in Raleigh, North Carolina

We were trying to go to the Pit for lunch, but the lines were insanely long and we did not have the time or patience to wait.  We ended up going nearby to Clyde Coopers and had a delicious bbq lunch.  My brother did not love the sauce, which is very vinegar based.  I guess that's NC bbq, which is why I decided on fried chicken instead.  Chopped bbq is apparently also a NC thing.  I don't understand why the sauce is so tangy/sour/vinegar-y.  You can barely taste the tomato/molasses taste that you typically associate with bbq. Regardless, a great lunch for me at least haha.  Inside, the restaurant was decorated very colorfully with attitude.  Great spot and much less crowded.
