Ai Pho & Vermicelli in Jersey City, NJ

Andrew and I went to a new Vietnamese spot in downtown JC.  The new place is right by our fav pasta spot.  It's BYOB and was pretty fast.  I almost felt rushed because they kept coming by to check on us.  The food was really solid though and I even got some extra to take home to Dan and it was good later.  A great option for the Vietnamese craving and much closer than the other place by H Park.  Happy to have more options in the neighborhood.
Crispy squid with sweet chili sauce.  Great flavor and perfectly fried

I got Vermicelli with spring roll and grilled pork served with chopped lettuce, cucumber, scallion oil, crushed peanut on the top and fish sauce on side.  Great staple order

Andrew got Hue's Style Beef Noodle Soup - Pig feet, beef mussel, cha lui and brisket with rice vermicelli noodle. Spicy. Def looked filling and spicy

Ordered some pho to go for Dan with grilled chicken.  Again, very solid. Portion wise I think maybe the meat amount is less than our other place, but this had great flavor
