Dinner at Mathew's Food and Drink in Jersey City, NJ

It had been awhile since we went to Mathew's so we decided to go there one Saturday night.  The waits are no longer a big deal which is good, but it still had plenty of people. As usual, we were enticed by some of the specials so had to order them  Also as usual, we over ordered, but that's just because we were so excited by the options.  In the end, the specials were the best hings we ate.
Smoked Vietnamese Pig Wing with Alabama white sauce - my fav thing by far. Loved the smokiness and it was balanced perfectly with the sauce

Scallops served with thai glass noodles.  Noodles made it nice and light and the scallops were seared perfectly

Flank steak - Espresso Rubbed, Anson Mills Polenta, Charred Vidalia Onions, Salsa Mole .  Lots of great flavors together and the steak was very tender

Local creamed corn with lump crab - this was a side that I was actually most excited for.  It ended up being a little too rich b/c of the cream to eat that much off.  I was embarrassed by how much was left although we did out best to pick out that crab meat

Wild Boar Bolognese - Saffron Pappardelle, Castelvatrano Olives, Grana Padana. Sounded really good and I love boar, but was very underseasoned.  Just a little salt would've done wonders for this
