Dinner at Wallse in NYC

For Valentine's Day, Dan I went to Wallse, a Michelin-star Austrian restaurant in NYC.  We had wanted to go during prior Restaurant Weeks but never made it.  They had a kind of crazy V-Day menu, but we ended up celebrating a few days later, so got to order from the normal menu, which is shockingly reasonable considering it has one star.  The food was all very delicious and not actually that heavy, which is surprising for this type of food.  Would definitely recommend if looking for Austrian/German-style food.
Quark Spaetzle - Braised Rabbit, Tarragon, Carrots, Mushrooms.  Rabbit was so tender and the spaetzle itself had great fluffiness

Veal Wiener Schnitzel - Potato and Cucumber Salad, Lingonberries.  Loved the berries with the meat, which was perfectly fried and not greasy at all

Braised Beef Short Rib - Carrots, Sunchokes.  Meat was super tender.  Loved the combo of ingredients

Souffle - great flavor and texture

Cant remember what this was but was pretty full by this point
