My cousin recommended Spoon & Pork as some of the best Filipino food in LA, so it was our first food stop. It also happened to be really close to a guitar shop Dan wanted to visit that was only open that day, so it worked out. Food was incredible, and then across the street we managed to get dessert from an incredible Filpino ube-focused dessert shop, Ube Baby.
Menu
Patita (slow cooked deep fried pork shank; chili garlic, cucumbers, rice) with garlic fried rice and side of tomatoes. We also got adobo hot wings but I guess I didn't take a pic :(
Ube Cheesecake and Mango Flan. Both incredible. They ran out of ube flan :(
Ube Bread Pudding was still good at home a few days later thanks to our mini fridge
