We managed to find Willie Mae's in downtown NOLA, which was wonderful because we didn't have to Uber and could just walk. There was a food hall called Pythian Market with lots of other options. We did have to wait quite awhile for the food, but it was as good as the original store and for the convenience of the location, I was happy. However, if you have never gone, you should definitely go to the actual restaurant for the experience. Also they have a much larger menu.
