Went to a nice group dinner for my birthday at Mancora in the East Village.  The food was good but service was slow and it took a long time to get drinks.  Not the best Peruvian food I've had but solid.  Maybe going at a less crowded time like lunch would be better.  I only took shots of my and Dan's food because it took so long for the food to come out that everyone just wanted to eat.

Tasty watermelon margarita

Arroz con Pato - sauteed duck with rice, cilantro sauce mixed greens and salsa criolla.  Delish and I was surprised by how crispy the duck was

Dan got baked filet of tilapia topped with seafood sauteed with creamy sauce, and served with rice.  Way to be healthy
