Dan and I went to Domo Domo twice pre pandemic. This is an incredible restaurant on part with other more pricey places in NYC. They do have a NYC location but not sure if they have as good deals there as in JC.
The first time we did omakase (12 pieces) there and it was amazing. We sat at the sushi bar so got to see the chef prepare our sushi in front of us. Everything was incredibly fresh and done with such delicate nuance.
Dan got Japanese whiskey, and I got some plum wine sake
Red snapper
Medium fatty tuna with garlic soy
Kampachi amber jack
Salmon with sesame oil
Flouder with sea kelp
Spotted prawn with pickled shishito
Fatty tuna hand roll
and finally
Black sesame panna cotta was the perfect ending
