Dinner from Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood, TX

For Dan's birthday I ordered him Salt Lick BBQ brisket and sausage.  Within days, the meat was sent via dry ice, frozen and it lasted for I don't know how many meals.  We split up eating the sausage and brisket since it would have been too much for just the two of us to try to tackle both at once.  We were able to share the brisket with friends and family, which was awesome, because as much as I loveee brisket, it was a lot eating it for like a week at a time.  Next time, I'd probably try to cut it up and then freeze so we could have it two distinctly separately times.  It was a bit pricy but definitely worth it since we can't travel and they have THE BEST sausage, and also amazing brisket.

5 lb brisket and 3 links of sausage

We got sides from Bob White and they were perfect with the sausage - roasted veggies, vinegar cole slaw, mac and cheese and biscuits

Legit best sausage in the world

Giant and beautiful brisket.  Heat in the oven low and slow
