Dan and I both love flan, so we decided to bite the bullet and make Filipino flan. It requires 10 (!) eggs, so we waited to do this until we had an absurd amount of eggs in case there was a chance we'd run out. It took a while and some vigilant stirring, but the result was delicious and just what we wanted taste and texture wise. Here's the recipe we used. I know different cultures probably make their flan differently, but this is what I've grown up tasting/eating so it's perfect for me.
