If not for quarantine, I'm sure we wouldn't have attempted this, but we decided to take on making bagels, NY style. Jersey City doesn't have the best bagels, so we figured we would try ourselves. It came out really well, minus the look. We tried again a few days later. They again came out super tasty, but just lacked the smoothness that you get at professional spots. Still, a great, easy-to-follow
recipe that you can impress others or just yourself with!
FIRST ATTEMPT:
Already you can see not the prettiest texture wise
The everything bagel seasoning helped to cover up the look lol
They still came out well though!

SECOND ATTEMPT:
Already an improvement. Looks smoother and more poof-y
Still not perfect texture wise but definitely got better. And tasted great!
